NCAA Hockey Tournament
We got a good draw as a #3 seed. Worcester bracket, with our matchup vs. Michigan.

Schedule and TV information can be found here:
https://www.collegehockeynews.com/news/tvsked.php

We should have a good fan presence at the regional.

RE: NCAA Hockey Tournament
Basketball isn't the only sport where a 16 beats a 1. Huge upset today as the bottom team in the tournament, Air Force, knocked off the number 1 team in the country, St. Cloud, 4-1. In the East bracket, Notre Dame almost lost to Michigan Tech, which would have been another big upset. They squeaked by in overtime 4-3.

Providence and their stingy defense defeated Clarkson 1-0. They will be a tough out this tournament. Duluth beat Mankato in a 2 goal comeback which makes them the last team from Minnesota in the tournament.

RE: NCAA Hockey Tournament
I needed a day to get over the disappointmenting weekend.

NU lost to Michigan 3-2 Saturday.

NU loses two great seniors in Dylan Sikura and Nolan Stevens. Sikura signed with Chicago after the loss and Stevens signed with St. Louis Sunday.

Both players will likely play the last couple of weeks in the season with the big club. Stevens could this week.

Now we wait to see if Gaudette leaves to sign with Vancouver or come back for his senior season. IMO he should leave. He’s a pro and has nothing more to prove in college and he won’t have the kind of year he had in 2017-18.

If you guys didn’t see the game or the whole game, here it is.

Trying hard to be positive about this. It was, after all, a terrific season....Beanpot, post season tourney, good young players, etc.

RE: NCAA Hockey Tournament
It’s official, Gaudette forgoes his senior year and has signed with Vancouver.

Best of luck to the best NU player I have ever seen.
