IF Tubby never went to Texas Tech they likely wouldn't be in the Tourney right now.

Much easier to recruit to a school that was in the tourney the previous year.

People who argue that Tubby didn't rebuild Texas Tech are showing their blind hate for the man.

I can agree that he did a poor job here at Memphis and that it was a poor fit due to use not having time to wait on slow rebuild with the program losing fans in the stands rapidly.

But when we are talking about him re-building something in the past what he did at MEMPHIS doesn't matter.
