Stam, if Davenport and some more players leave, will you blame it on Tubby also? I know you will blame him for everything for the next 20 years. You included all the transfers even before he got here. I really wish to know why you hate the man so much. I know one reason but if I mention it, I will probably be banned so I'll save it for your next coach when Penny goes back to coach High School teams.

Tubby inherited a well stocked roster that was 2-3 players away from being a tournament team; which he then proceeded to dismantle, and then did a crappy job of recruiting.

Penny is inheriting a mess. IF Penny's first act as our coach is to announce that he is going on a 2 week vacation, and his first class is the equivalent to Clergeot and Rykhoek I will absolutely criticize him.

Hardly Stam. As always, you have such a one-track mind that is crazy. I have followed Tubby's teams since UGA days. I will follow his team whoever might be, High Point ???? Is Tubby perfect? No, but nobody is. What I like about his teams is the fact that they play with a lot of heart. You guys saw it this year. I have seen it for more than 20 years. In fact, I haven't watched an NBA game since people like Oakley retired. It is nothing but a joke. Most college teams are like that these days.
The game that played with him with your admin and Penny was plain dirty but heck it is a part of business. I will cheer for you guys like I did for TT. Am I optimistic that Penny is the solution? The answer is no. For the past few years, he has been part of the problem. He has been used by whomever??? Now, he will pay for it. Remember this post, he will be back to coach High School in a few years. I said it 5 years ago when Tubby was fired at MN and you saw what has happened. Program like Memphis needs a seasoned coach to bring it back to the glory days and then hand it to a young coach. There is no quick fix unless you cheat. If this coaching staff cheats, you guys will be screwed for years. Remember NCAA does not punish big schools. They go after Memphis or Minnesota....

Let me tell y'all about gophertubby. I know exactly who he is. He was not a UK fan when he hung around UK sites. He's lying about the UGA thing.

He was not a Gopher fan when he hung around the UMinn sites. He was not a TT fan when he was there and he's not a Memphis fan either. He is all about tubby.

He the step father of a now retired WNBA great. He is now, and always has been a Purdue fan.

His step daughter played in the 2000 Olympics. tubby was an assistant coach on the men's USA team. He struck up a friendship with tubby in Australia.

He has since defended that loser at every stop. He will use the race card at the drop of a hat.

Sorry, just one more post. I'll be gone for a couple of years. I had to respond to the hater from UK. The guy that he mentioned calls himself friend of Tubby. I think that he lives in Chicago??? We have two things in common,1. we have followed Tubby for years 2. we both graduated from Purdue. That's it. He is actually much better writer than I am. Of the top of my head, I tell one coaching job that Tubby did just for this guy who claims that I never followed UK basketball. There is a guy on UK's bench right now named Wayne Turner. He used to have the record for playing the most college games. He had such an awkward shooting technique that no one had ever seen. On defense, he was a monster but in offense not much. Tubby coached the young man to be a very good offensive guy. He was small but very quick to the basket. He is assisting Cal now if I remember correctly.

Anyway, all the best to you guys. I hope that you beat USF and ECU by 90 points now. I look forward to watching your games. It is very cool to see the fans get excite like this.
