RE: Harris or Lomax ?
If Lomax were to go to Prep school, wouldn’t it theoretically clear up space for both of them when Martin and Brewton leave

Washington won the Pac 10 with 3 of their top 5 guys in minutes played mesauring under 6'0 with IT3, Dentmon, and Overton. They went to the Sweet 16 the next year with a starting backcourt of 5'8 and 5'11.

I could see them both playing together. All 3 of them playing together until Martin graduates.

Very hypothetical and based on no inside knowledge, but let's say there's a recruiting class of Harris, Lomax (released from LOI), Wiseman (reclassifies)

PG- Alex Lomax
G - Tyler Harris
G - Jeremiah Martin
F - Kyvon Davenport
C - James Wiseman

With the right substitution patterns, you could see all 3 on floor together very little and still average 25-30 MPG.

RE: Harris or Lomax ?
Remember how Harris' family and coach said he really wanted to be a Tiger, but he wasn't feeling the love? He's gotten nothing but love for 6 months now. With Penny at the helm, if Harris doesn't come, we'll know that was all just words, and TG was right.

Part of the problem we would be facing without Penny is that these kids who went elsewhere have been successful. That's a pitch I'm sure everyone is giving these Memphis kids. Penny pretty much nullifies that argument.

RE: Harris or Lomax ?
Neither will be NBA, so both are 4 year guys. Even if Harris doesn't start because of Martin, he and Brewton are gone next year and you never know who gets hurt or goes pro. Harris needs to be a Tiger and cut down some nets.

RE: Harris or Lomax ?
College basketball doesn’t require you to play 5 traditional positions. You can start 3 small guards, a 6’7” guy and a 6’10” guy and have success. Especially if you play a fast, 4 out type of style
