Why would Lomax want to play big boy basketball under the least qualified coach in division one when he could learn under one of the the best? Just because they are boyzzz? I sure hope there are grownups in Mr. Lomax's life. His next couple actions could be the difference between having a shot in the NBA... or not.

If Marshall gets wind of anything funny out of Lomax it will be curtains. Marshall values honor and loyalty over EVERYTHING else. With one swipe of his pen, Gregg will ban Lomax from the league and he'll end up playing for a ****** P5... or worse.

No he wont. Lomax will either get his release or go to prep school for a year and take over as the Memphis PG in 2019-20 once Jeremiah Martin graduates.

GM got a couple of commits from Memphis when Tubby was napping. His days of taking players from this city (unless they're lower rated) are officially over. He'll need to go back to getting all the elite players in Wichita, KS...... well, the ones the Jayhawks don't want.

I realize the timing of this is tough for you guys. You've had about a week to digest reality. So far that's not going well. You're in denial about what's about to take place. My prayer for you is that it will happen fast so it won't hurt as bad when the inevitable happens. If this drags out, it will only result in more denial and message board embarrassment. I understand that Memphis fans are as excited as kids in a candy store right now and you have every right to be. I'm happy to see your fan base energized, I just wish ya'll didn't feel the need to take cheap shots and crap on every other fan base you encounter during the celebration.

Almost every fan base represented on this board is over the top (many are probably just having fun). Some really are fanatical and actually believe everything they spew. Many WSU fans here thought they were going to steamroll the AAC this year and told us all about it last summer. It is what it is.

That's a fair point. I usually try to avoid that stuff in favor of actual discussion but this is a message board so I understand that it happens.

As far as the Lomax matter. I'm just waiting to see what happens. I don't think anything is a done deal at this point.

Lomax lived with Penny for 3 years...no way in hell is he coming there.

No way does he get release to go to Memphis. Marshall don't mess around.

Ask him what he thinks about Jim Valvano sometime.
