New Media Deal for C-USA with CBS Sports and Facebook
This is OT to UC, but definitely OT to various threads about the business of college football, media rights deals, etc. (The AAC deal is up next year)> CUSA got a new deal with CBS Sports, and it looks like they sublicensed some of the content to Facebook. Not sure of the revenue side of this deal, but per a tweet from the North Texas AD it represents significantly more revenue for the conference.

RE: New Media Deal for C-USA with CBS Sports and Facebook
SBC, C-USA, MAC are all locked up between ESPN (MAC), CBSSN (C-USA), and MULTIPLE Providers (SBC).
On deck is BYU and MW. Once these two are out of the way the real bidding for the AAC begins.
My take is $3M for BB along based on viewership compared to Big East contact with Fox.
Add $5M or $6M for FB including Championship game and Navy home games.
Bank it😎
