This would likely make him one of the highest-paid backs in the league. Not bad for a guy that will be 26 in May. That does seem really high but the good news is Mike Shanahan seems to really know what he's doing.

Oh, and he'd be a teammate with his former college teammate Matt Breida. Hopefully they will both get carries.

That was my first thought.

Look at what Shannahan did with Freeman and Coleman while with the Falcons.

I'm not sure if I can recall another NFL RB tandem that hails from the same school.

I'm going to make sure I attend the 49ers @ Falcons this coming season.
