He may look calm but he has absolutely no confidence in his shot. He has not made one in about a year and a half.

The last time he made a trey was against UConn on Feburary 22nd. Shot 4 of 8 and has made only 7 attempts since then. There's no time like the present for him to get hot though. An onions bonus indeed...

It's much more pleasurable to just use the ignore feature.

Didn't Mick say he was our best shooter?

Some of you guys are too enamored by player rankings. Bottom line, Texas isn't a VERY GOOD TEAM. Who cares about individual talent if you are not a good team. This is a team sport. They SHOULD be a good team, but they aren't. They were a 10 seed for a reason and couldn't even beat a solid, not great Nevada team out of the mid major MWC.

Give me a break.

Nevada old as heck compared to Texas. Just like us were nothing without our top 100 players being JR/SR. Texas had 3-4 nba players on court yesterday. If Texas was older it wouldn't even been close

i replied to a post by Marcus but this is a senior led team whose second best player (Evans) has NBA potential and third best player (Teddy) is starting to establish himself as the future alpha of this team. i don't know if Moore feels free to take shots given the team dynamic. i'm not saying he's been told not to but that he probably is deferential to the more established veterans on the team. On top of that, he's probably gotten his minutes because of his willingness to defend and rebound; which is all to day that he's probably not taken a whole lot of meaningful shots this season.

Obviously i want him to get more makes but if he plays solid D and rebounds then he's probably going to get the lion's share of minutes at the SF/SG off the bench.

i am hoping that someone on the coaching staff tells him that he doesn't have to shoot treys exclusively. i'm sure the book on him is that he is specialist, maybe a pump fake/dribble drive with the option for a closer J or kick for an open shot.

Don't disagree but you feel like if he hits a trey the confidence will come back and he'll play better all around as a result since the trey is a big part of his game.
