Not too bad at all, plus all games should be on an ESPN platform,

Just with this tournament, GCU's OOC schedule improves over last year. Of course, this year's OOC schedule was so weak that it would be hard to not improve upon it.
Also CS-Fullerton is within driving distance so may be able to attend. Anyone know the dates?

Yep, Thanksgiving, 11/22 to 11/25. That may make it difficult for some. We were already planning on going to Disneyland around that time, so we will just make it a two for one! Can't wait.

2018-19 schedule off to a solid start. Next hope for GCU fans should be no teams rated 300 or worse.

I'd love for us not to front load our schedule full of struggling east cost HBCU's willing to come all the way out to Valley just to have the Lopes run up the score while hurting our strength of schedule. These games don't really do a whole lot for preparing for conference play.

Scheduling mid-to-low tier P5 teams is a good strategy. Last year, St. Johns and Illinois were winnable games that we just let slip away. A couple of years ago when Canyon played against Houston and Marshall in that holiday tournament, that was a quality series of games. I think this tournament is even better, and a step in the right direction! The GCU Classic wasn't really much of a challenge.

Yup. To go with games played in the Wooden Legacy tourney, I believe Boise State also owes GCU a return game to Phoenix. More lower-mid P5 would be nice. I'm also 100% here for games against middle to upper Big Sky, BW, WCC, and/or MW.

Please, no more SWAC or MEAC opponents!

I just heard on the pregame show tonight that GCU will head to Northern Iowa next season. That's a quality game; UNC lost a game at Northern Iowa a few years ago, I'm pretty sure. They're giant killers in the tournament, historically.

Northern Iowa is a good road game. So far the schedule is looking much better next year.

For my benefit, I’d love for them to play at Air Force, CU, CSU, northern Colorado or DU.. but DU is the one that got mad and ran off from the WAC when they heard the Lopes were joining.

Can GCU please play either Vandy, Belmont, Middle Tennessee, Austin Peay, Lipscomb, or Western Kentucky? That’d work out real nicely for me.
