I have mixed feelings about this.
Villanova is gonna be hard to beat.

If they shoot Monday night like they did tonight there is no question about it.

I think they will have the same problem Aand M had after playing a perfect game against UNc it’s tough to follow that up. Michigan 68-62

I could see that, but Villanova has been strong all year and I think they finish it.

I'm pulling for Michigan tonight, but it is maddening to hear them referred to as a "blue blood".

The lone bracket I filled out this year, I picked Villanova to win it all. I see no reason to go against that selection tonight. I think they win, AND cover the 6.5-point spread. They're playing like the Golden State Warriors right now.

The three point shot line has to be changed in college basketball,it has gotten so easy for guys these that it a total bore to watch teams just jack the three. No low post play and god forbid a guy takes a shot a foot inside the line-he gets smoked by every fan, broadcaster, coach in the country. I hate the three point shot in college.

Adapt or die. Slowly, but surely, teams will start to figure out how to combat all the threes. The college game has the advantage of being able to utilize zone defense, so you'll likely start to see teams run a ton of 3-2 zone or other creative schemes.

The NIT experimented with moving it back to the FIBA line. I imagine that and quarters will be implemented shortly.

I would like to see the 3 point line moved back, but I would love to see the elimination of live ball time outs.

Here here
Nothing more irritating than good defense nullified by a timeout

Agreed... It make so much sense to move the 3 point line back to the FIBA distance. I don't know why but I would like to see them stick with the 2 halves format. I know it doesn't make much sense, but I enjoy it.

Michigan looked good the first 10 minutes, then the great white hope took over. They didn't shoot as well as i suspected, with the exception of a kid who averages 11 scoring 30+.
Score another one for the city of Filthy.

This is what they did all year long; getting contributions from everyone.
There was a good article about Jay Wright recently. Talked about how he ONLY recruits guys you would qualify as "gym rats" or "basketball nerds". Basically, his assumption is if he recruits the right personalities, they'll maximize their abilities, because they'll spend every second they can working on their games.
By avoiding the one-and-dones and zigging while others were zagging, Wright has become one of the top coaches in the game very quickly. And he seems to be doing things the right way.
