Very proud of Coach Kenny and his girls! They were my second choice all along.

Kenny hasn't won a WNIT yet right? That'd be a great accomplishment (say what you want about W/NIT).

I still liked our shot had we made it past WVU.

JMU lost in the 2012 finals to Oklahoma State. There were some fabulous games played in the Convo during that stretch.

Best wishes to Kenny and the Hokies (probably the only time I will ever say that!). It would have been a hoot to play Tech last night....but.....maybe another year!

ohh yeah 2012 games were awesome. Some friends and I were recently reminiscing on those visiting teams and scores.

Saw all the games at the Convo during the 2012 WNIT run and the 2013 WNIT run also. Some great games, particularly the wins against UVa!!

Still bitter that the school didn't send a band or really any significant support when they traveled to Stillwater for the WNIT championship. Just one of the many ways Kenny Brooks was marginalized in order for Charlie to save a few pennies.

Tha is appalling, especially since the Pep Band is our secret weapon.

Slightly off-topic, but you can't ask for much better Final 4 matchups than tonight (well, unless the Dukes were in it of course). All 4 #1 seeds facing off...

7pmET - Louisville vs Miss State
9:30pm - Notre Dame vs UConn

Good stuff.

Charlie King provided the funds so JMU could host every home NIT game leading up to the Championship Game. Instead of looking at every opportunity to criticize, I would encourage you to examine the support he provides to all of our sports programs. Many of us have increased our financial support to the Duke Club so JMU can provide more opportunities for our athletes.

Mississippi State will play in the NCAA title game against the winner of ND-UConn. I believe Miss State is one of only a few P5 schools that have never won a national title in any team sport. I believe the others are Virginia Tech, Ole Miss and Kansas State.

The Bulldogs will have their shot to make history.

Louisville really blew this game at the end. Cards should have won.

He chose the cheaper option of hosting WNIT games rather than sending the team on the road. It’s not like he didn’t choose the cheap option there too! If MBB has been playing in the NIT final at Madison Square Garden, they would have sent spirit support in droves. Instead, he went cheap with WBB & alienated one of our greatest coaches.

RE: Lady Dukes WNIT
For clarity, the JMU fan attendance at home WNIT games enabled JMU to choose to host. Drawing bigger crowds than everyone we faced that year allowed us to continue hosting. Only reason we traveled to Stillwater that year was due to the Home & Garden Expo scheduled for the same weekend at the Convo.

Indiana just beat KB and his Lady Hokies for the championship. Good game. Hokies were in it all the way.

I think Kenny and VT gave notice that VT will be a force to be reckoned with in the ACC next year, and probably NCAA anywhere from second round to E8. Everyone who played in the WNIT championship game is returning next year.

I do think it would be sort of fun if Coach O would get a game with them on the OOC schedule.

I think Coach O would schedule them in a heartbeat....not sure Coach Brooks is ready to play the Dukes yet (especially in Harrisonburg).

I would guess that to be pretty accurate.
