Glad we got that win. Dirty team. On about 3 occasions, their players tried to leg-whip ours during potential fast-break opportunities, as they kicked a leg out behind them to trip one of our guys headed back in the other direction. Refs only caught it once.

To be fair, the 5 wins was the year before last year, when Coach Thompson was still there. In 2 years we've gone from 5-27, to 14-19, to our current 20-14, and that 20-14 was with one of our starters sitting out the whole year with an injury.

I cant believe I am going to say this, but tonight, Go Runners. I genuinely want yall to win. Cant stand the thought of Sam Houston State beating a CUSA school and I love the fact that we can still win 3 of the 4 postseason tournaments.

Hate to say it, but I agree. C-USA needs the Runners to win tonight. And it would reflect poorly if Sam Houston won. It would be good for C-USA if WKU wins the NIT, North Texas wins the CBI, and UTSA were to win the CIT.

These are the things we need to do if C-USA is going to gain some national respect and become a multi-bid league.
