That's why they play the games. And how many bid-stealing upsets in conference cg's took place this weekend? Quite a few. Sadly, the only CUSA team going dancing was the one who won our CG.

You probably could play the end of that game 999 more times and we’d lose every one of them.

MTSU is a tournament team. The system is rigged so bad right now that it makes it almost impossible for a mid major to get an at large. You cannot slip up. And every team is going to slip up somewhere over 30 games. You basically have to be as good as Memphis when Calipari was there. Because if you’re a notch below that, you’re on the bubble.

Middle really wasn't even on the bubble. They're a 3-seed in the NIT.

Technically being a 3 seed means there are at least 8 schools the committee saw as stronger than MTSU.

The NIT seeding is different than the NCAA, for at least the top 4 in bracket. The seeding is set to regional teams. If I was on the NIT committee I would have argued MTSU as a 2 getting No. Kentucky instead of Louisville.
