Until someone connected comes out with that huge news (which would crush ODAF), it's hard to take it as anything more than hearsay.

Really hard to believe the daily press would sit on news that big.

Now, the pilot I can see doing it, since they are spoonfed news from the AD.

I doubt the DP has the news. Someone would be fired if it got out.

That part was hyperbole. The literal part is with the A10. The stadium, if it moves forward, is most likely going to be a steaming pile of crap relative to what people parting with their money have been led to believe over the last 5 years, but not literally pop up bleachers. Lol.

Technically, isn't it just a donation? It's not an investment. Sure it's misleading to do what you say he is doing, but it's not criminal? I am not defending him by any measure, as this type of misleading will just cause the big donors to put their money elsewhere.

Can we please get back to the discussion of what our MBB program might be like for next year ?it appears that we are split into 2 camps. 1. if Trey stays we are good shape and stay about the same as this year 2. if Trey goes and we don't get a P5 grad transfer we will be down from this years results.

I would sat that if Trey stays AND we get a big grad transfer to replace Brandon Stith's production, we might actually win this thing. We should have some semblance of a bench if everyone stays and puts in the work.

In addition, three players that have hurt us the last two years (Justin Johnson, Giddy Potts, and Nick King), and from the sound of things, the one coach that has had our number for the past 5 years, are all gone. So we should improve just by default.

When does grad transfer news start to hit? Right after the tournament is done?

If TP comes back I think we can compete for a top 4 finish. I don't think we will be able to compete for a conference title with what we have coming back unless we get lucky with a grad transfer and/or the young guys (FR and SO's) step up.

I would love to evaluate what our team is going to look like next year but I have heard way too many rumblings about MHJ. I have no clue what our roster will look like. I think, at this point, Jeff knows he has to add a grad transfer to play the 4. Aaron Carver getting the bulk of the minutes at the 4 will result in a bad year.

If we do not get a grad transfer, I want to see BJ slide down to the 4 for the majority of the season. I think you will see a lot of Kithcart and Caver on the floor at the same time. Kithcart would probably play the 2, as Ahmad is too good with the ball in his hands.
