Jealous of everyone in Nashville. Nothing better than UC fans taking over a town on a trip.

You could hear the UC faithful cheering loudly on TV yesterday. What a difference a Boise makes...

hung out on broadway last night and every bar was packed with uc fans. watched virginia go down at the stage on broadway and as the clock hit zero, the whole place erupted in "let's go cats!" chants. love it!

ran into Gametime himself after our game, always good seeing you Chad. was able to chat a little with dan hoard as well between sessions.

section 107 was enemy territory yesterday; we'll be in 117 tomorrow behind our bench to root on the cats in game 1 and to root against eggz in game 2.

this morning i walked to get coffee on Vandy's campus and all the frat/sorority houses were already in full swing for st. paddy's day. lots of green beer forthcoming today!

We were in 109. Great seats. We were a little worried we'd be in an XU section but we were surrounded by UC fans and one XU couple who were very nice. I didn't know XU fans could be nice or maybe they were behaving themselves because they were surrounded by Bearcats.

Overall impression of fan contingents in Nashville — saw way more Red and Black than any other team. Weird that Channel 12 profiled XU fans in Nashville on the late local news when there were more UC fans down there. (What is it with the love of XU by the local Cincy media?)

Wish we could've stayed for the weekend (the weather was awesome) but spouse is running the Heart tomorrow so couldn't do it.

Bearcat fans were everywhere.
Reminded me of a smaller scale Sugar Bowl attendance.

We owned New Orleans for New Years that year.
Folks from NOLA kept asking us if anyone was left in Cincinnati. : )

Very jealous of everyone down there. That would have been a great trip to make. Hoping we can make it to CAT-Lanta next week. If we are in the Elite 8 on the Saturday, that would be hard to say no to.

Boy - do I remember that - you couldn't go into a restaurant without constantly hearing UC cheers - though I hope this Sunday's game has a better result (at least we know the coaching staff will show up).

I did not get the 12 coverage either. They made it sound like X was the only team with fans in the whole town. Glad you people where able to go and that so many showed up. Keep up the good work.

Bearcat Nation outnumbered Xavier Nation 2-1 or 3-1 by what I saw.

Have yet to go into an establishment where I do not see a Bearcat fan.

Ch 12 has always leaned XU basketball and OSU football as long as I could remember. Someone in a position of authority must be a fan of those schools with some sort of chip on their shoulder about UC. The local network that covers UC best has always been Ch 5 and Ch 19.

At channel 5 I give a lot of the credit for it to Vogel. He's a big Bearcat fan. Also helps having Elise Jesse's husband as the MBB S&C coach.

Channel 19 was the best back when we played out games on Fox19 and Dan Hoard was their Sports guy. I haven't watched the local news in years though so I wouldn't know either way.
