I sat in the UGA section which was like in the curve on the northside, I think.

And No, And No

USC, I am pretty sure UGA isn't over-looking anyone..me on the other hand, I am confident it will be a win.
It wouldn't be the first time USC has beat a overconfident UGA team. I just feel it will be a closer game than you seem to think. UGA and USC seem to always have great games.
As far as AP is concerned, he would have scored or at least got the first down if he didn't fumble. What I remember more than anything was most everybody raising hell about the play that was called more than the fumble. Why call a pitch in the first place? Of course the fumble was big, but most everbody was pissed at Holtz for calling it to start with.

There was maybe a linebacker moving over but he did not have a direct shot at him. When Pinnock had a head of steam, NOBODY could stand him up. I do not remember one person bringing him down his four years at USC without running him down from behind. He would have at LEAST gotten the first down.

Well in the cases of the 2 fumbles inside your 5 you are correct. They weren't freakish. They were the result of poor execution. Now the play with Pollack in our endzone was freakish, but again, better decision making & execution by even an average QB could have avoided that play.

GDawgs you sound a lot like me when I was arguing with other USC fans after both the UVA & UGA games last year. It's amazing how in the minds of some people turnovers aren't considered an indication of how well a team performs, or how good they are overall. It's like an asterik or something that shouldn't be considered when determining the level of your teams execution, or what caliber of team they are.
