AState trails the Rubber Match with Missouri State 3-2 in the 6th. We did manage to knock their 2.08 ERA Sunday Starter out after 5 though.

Back and Forth game. Every inning in this series has been very tight ever since game 1 ended.

Now I'm angry. Missouri State absolutely robs us of a bases clearing double in the 9th. Tied bottom 9. Not sure we have the pitching to hang with these guys for a ton longer.

We lose it in the 9th on an error. Missouri State takes 2 of 3 with a 5-4 win.

Overall, it's not the worst weekend. We absolutely never beat these guys, but the fact that we had the series won and couldn't hang on is frustrating.

Hopefully we can take advantage of the inevitable culture shock Coastal faces next weekend when they discover how the other half lives and take a couple games.

Jags take game 3 and the series over the Cajuns 11-5.

Damn, Game 3 ends in a tie with UCSB. Bobcats 9-4-1 on the year. Really wanted the sweep.

Ok, Chiefsfan, I think our wins were afools gold because of an easy schedule. We went 1-2 against SFA. I do think we are better though.

You guys are certainly better. There's no doubt about that.

I guess we'll know for sure when we head to Monroe in 2 weeks.

SFA is bad. Their Friday night starter was something like 5-8 134 last weekend.

They are bad, but took two from us. That was my point.
