I dont like the 4-5 year process thing, winners want to win now, not 5 years from now.

Tubby constantly exceeds expectations. Problem is that the expectations are always low.

I get sick of hearing about all the players that Tubby lost and how many new guys we have. Those players didn't graduate. Most of them transferred out and he didn't try to get them to stay.

The skinny, long necked announcer said money/attendance was a big issue in the Tubby debacle.

He even mentioned the Grizz payout we didn't get.

Texas Tech was a school mired in the bottom 1/2 of the Big12. “Expectations” were .500 in the league, building it the “right” way, taking jucos. You know, the Tubby way. Somehow, in the same amount of time and with less talent left on the roster, Chris Beard has TT in the Top 15, competes for Big12 title, and has signed higher level recruits than Tubby. So, wonder if the Tech fans still believe in the Tubby way or even miss him.

Total BS. You don't have to lie. Then again, Memphis fans don't do any search so they believe you. Four players that are left on the roster were Tubby's. They all thanked him for recruiting them during the press after the last game. Even Beard has thank Tubby for the players he left him. Just like TT, and MN, Tubby will leave Memphis in a better shape than when he started. Enjoy the FFs or dream of them.

Let's be fair, Tubby beats the really bad teams on his schedule more often than not.
