The Tro­jans (7-25) fin­ished with their most losses since the 1999-2000 sea­son (4-24). That team lost 74-58 to South Alabama in the first round of the Sun Belt Tour­na­ment, and the Tro­jans’ then-first year coach Sid­ney Mon­crief did not re­turn the next sea­son.
