OTOH, he really made a difference guarding King in that matchup. I think Johnson is too good on the perimter for him.
And don't forget Taylor was an absolute turnover machine. WHile Carver isn't the most sure handed guy, he turns the ball over a lot less.
Taylor handled the ball way more than Carver. Considering Taylor played 900+ minutes each season and was our best hi/lo passer, his TO numbers weren't as bad as you are trying to make them out to be.
Taylor really didn't have as much of usage as you are implying. But, he did have a turnover rate of 26.9% for his career and 28.6% as a senior.
I agree, he had some sweet passes down low 1-2 times per game. He just turned it over way too much.

That's what I remember. He could make some rocket passes down low. I tend to forget the bad stuff.

He was the swing on the top of the key in half of the half Court sets. Your statistics don’t even make sense (which is usual for you)

I loved Denzel, but he was good for 2 turnovers per game on illegal screens alone.

I understand them. They are pointless statistics that NO one who understands the game would you to justify a player’s worth.
For example, what is Trae young’s turnover rate?
