I will be rooting too. I feel bad for the players. They aren't the most talented guys but they do play hard.

I like Tubby but he did bring a lot of this on himself. He could have easily hired a recruiter or a decent assistant coach. Instead he hired his son who by most accounts does very little. He certainly doesn't recruit. Loyalty it one thing. Nepotism is quite another.

We got hammered by 20+ points last time we'd played these guys. The players might be distracted by the noise in the media, but what was our excuse last time?

Basketball remains a team game. The game plan is developed by the coaching staff. Things that take your focus off of the game and the game plan are definitely distractions.

If one person is thinking about something else and doesn't focus on doing his part of the game plan, then this team is seriously handicapped.

If they play as a team and each does his part, this team can reach at least the semifinals. If they play as individuals or are not ready mentally and physically, they will get blown by 20 again today.

Unfortunately, this might be the last game for this season because of the matchup. Manderson who was Tubby's recruit at TT is much bigger and stronger than Parks and Azab. They need to get in foul trouble. In both games, Tigers had a hard time with this team.

Last 2 game minutes feel like they are taking a half-hour to finish.

Good for SMU if they win. Will ensure a winning record even after they lose to Cincy tomorrow. Shake Milton injury ended their chances.
