I enjoyed giving friends from other CAA schools a hard time when we beat them. But I don't need that to enjoy watching Randy and BJ drain threes, Caver drop a guy to his ankles with a crossover or Porter block a shot. This year provided a lot of fun moments to me. Hope there are more in store this season after we leave Frisco.

I know one person who went to Marshall, one who went to WKU, one who went to FIU and one who went to Charlotte. So thats four people from other schools in the entire conference. And I don't really keep up with any of them much. I knew tons of people who went to JMU, VT (yeah not in conference, but we beat them so much it seemed like it, and was still a lot of fun), WM and quite a few at VCU and GMU. Rivalries do make it more fun.

In payback for last year, I would have mocked them senseless this year.

I was there with my son. What a great tournament. I especially enjoyed hanging around the brown dump after the game with our ODU gear on. I hope we can get that same magic back this weekend.

I was a senior in high school, ragged on my all friends who were going to VCU (they got the last laugh), and went to the next year's CAA tournament with the pep band. Never got to see ODU win a conference tournament during my time as a student, but maybe one day. I did get to see the Freeman miracle shot in-person though!

We had one hell of an oyster roast at our house pregame, to include several posters on this and the old CAA Zone boards. Iliadis' parents stopped by, and we have remained in touch ever since.

I was there and at the Verizon Center. Our car full barely said a word all the way home from DC. I also remember a 120 page thread on the zone on how bad the Richmond coliseum was. I bet people miss it now.

This was 8 years ago today. My how camera phones have come in 8 years! I think these were on a old blackberry 83xx.

I was there every year we played at the dump. Stayed the weekend with friends and the drove back for the Monday night finals. Despite the venue they were exciting times. Wish we could get back to something like that again.

As others have said, I was in the student section with my (now) wife. Stormed the court. Nothing like it.

Oh man... my sin of the day was arriving long after the grille was shut down.

But those pictures. We were happy back then. We had a purpose and believed we could beat anyone on any given day. These past few years have been hard.
