I'll give it a chance since we screwed the pooch. I'll offer comment during and after should it warrant.
What location is going to put 10,000 in this conference? It’s not realistic.

Maybe UTEP on a good year. Maybe WKU if they were having a phenomenal year.
Anything CUSA puts on now isn't ever going to rival the old sunbelt days or the Memphis Invitational

I’m willing to have the conference think outside the box, or start using some home sites. But this is the most horrendous set up I’ve ever seen for a conference tournament.

Affirmative. The low rising bleachers are the second worst idea, right behind not spinning the courts 90 degrees and putting them up next to the inherent football seating. After the CUSA officials, VIPs, Press, and Announcers fill the tables at courtside, you wont be able to see but half the court from the back row. Whomever designed this at CUSA HQ was either drunk or used to get hit in the head a lot.
As bad as this conference can be team wise, the first round should be at the higher seed's home court on Tuesday night. Then the winner travels on Wednesday to start the conference tourney at a central location on Thursday.

Maybe next year we can hold it in Attalla's back yard. Have to be an improvement.

I have the room but I do not have the structure or support facilities in place at this time.
I believe with a year to work with you could match what I've seen in those pics from this year's tournament. I have confidence in you.

You are 100% correct. Why could they not put the court along side the football bleachers? I once went to an SEC basketball tournament in New Orleans Superdome. The court was in the end zone where upper deck seating hung over the lower level seats. There were 15,000 seats with a great view. Maybe they might change next year. I'm just disappointed I can't be there.

Biggest thing they need to work on next year is getting a stats and score board. You can't see any stats during the game, and the only way you can see the score is to look at the TVs in the corner.

Birmingham had 9,000 for the finals of the 2015 tournament when UAB was in it. And that was coming off of a lackluster regular season. I think if UAB had a great regular season AND made it to the finals, you'd see 10,000+ in Birmingham.
