In fairness, probably not.

They're convinced despite the evidence that the person robbing the bank/convenience store really would never kill anyone, and the only reason they killed the person they did was because they were trying to stop them from robbing the bank/convenience store.

Sure, that may be what they think. But I remember a particular case a few years ago on the (at the time) outskirts of Memphis.

A lady had parked her car and was walking into the bank. The robber happened to be leaving at the same time. He shot her in the face and killed her. She didn't have a gun. She wasn't even in the bank at the time of the robbery. She happened to be walking in the door.


Another case at a local Sonic drive-in. A lady had gotten out of her car and was sitting in the dine-in area. She had her dog with her. A guy shot both her and her dog. She died.

If I recall, the guy was a disgruntled employee.

Regardless of what the leftists think, most of the times when a bad guy shoots people there aren't many people shooting back.
