'17-18' Women's BBall Team Tourney Surprise
So what was up with the women's bball team??? They had won 1 game out of their last 13 and then as a 12 seed they upset 5 seed UH in the conference tourney. And then are only a missed layup at the buzzer from upsetting Cincy and going to the conference semifinals. This was the same Cincy team that beat them by 37 points just 5 games ago.

Talk about over achieving in tourney play. Or horrendously underachieving through the season? Idk.

We seem to be small, especially our front court. I would assume we are dangerous when hitting our shots and get it handed to us when we aren't.

I'm always happy to see a TU team win but beating Houston may have hurt the conference. Houston was our best chance at a 3rd NCAA bid on the women's side. $$$

We should be competitive in women's basketball, we've done it before. USF is a great program and UConn is just a beast but we should be able to compete with the rest.

Sounds like recruiting would fix most of the issues. Hopefully Coach Mossman can get them back on track. If I remember right the team seemed to improve her first 2 or 3 years here as compared to how they were doing before. So I don't think a coaching change is necessarily needed at this time. We can afford to be more patient with women's basketball anyway.
