Not when you consider they build a small hut on the ice that includes a heater and adult beverages. Sometimes the fishing part becomes secondary.

You left out card playing. I ice fish every year. A few years ago in January I went to a full-scale wedding on the ice.

I only fished twice in TN. The 1st time, I caught 32 bluegill in half an hour of the Cumberland river. The 2nd time was outside of Murfreesboro of a fishing farm (lots of trout). I know that was not called fishing. It was a lot more fun than ice fishing though.

How can you call yourself a 'real' ice fisherman if you criticize it? Everyone here knows if you criticize, then you aren't a 'real' supporter.

You know, you guys are excellent at speculating at Memphis. When Jones left at the half time, you guys said that a real interested recruit would never leave at the half time. Then, when he committed, some of you all said that it took him a long time to decide so Tubby's recruiting still sucks. Some of the posts are funny and have zero facts.
I never criticized Ice fishing. I just said that catching that many fish in such a short period of time was more fun that sitting for hours without catching anything. Ice fishing is actually a lot of fun if you catch any fish particularly walleye that is to die for.

A lot of generalization in those first two sentences. Plus, if you're a Tiger fan, whats with all the 'you guys' and 'some of you all' stuff? Aren't WE all supporting the same school here? Its difficult to ask a fanbase for unity with many divisive statements toward your peers.
