Tubby met with a player and his parents.....A. to keep the player from quitting? B. to get him back on the team because he HAD quit? ...or C. Just to make some contact with a player and his family.

Three choices there.

It's not much in Tubby's wheelhouse to meet with players and their families, at least that we've ever heard.

In any case, it is said that one of the things Martin asked Tubby to do was to stop being so negative to the other players.

But all irrelevant now.

Common opinion from those closeby is that it's A. And, yeah, everyone admitted that Martin asked Tubby to quit being negative.
