That gym is pretty empty in K'Zoo. "Embarrassing for the conference".

If Akron holds on we will need bus all the students over to combat an essential home game for them.

Absolutely bananas ending happening in Kalamazoo. A steal in the final seconds leads to a crazy bank-in 3 for WMU for the lead.

I wouldn't worry too much about the location. Akron's had a tough year and they don't get big crowds to the Q until at least the semis anyway.

I like the poetic justice of it. Beat Akron, the team that has kept us out of the semis the last two years, and we're in the semis this year.

EMU has been decent on the road this year anyway. Kent, CMU, WMU, Miami, Tol. Just need our team to play hard for 40 minutes.

It's a much better matchup for us, regardless. They don't have much semblance of an offense and rely on lots of one-on-one creativity from their talented (but young) guards. We had 9 steals and 10 blocks in our last matchup against them, and I don't see why we can't do that again.

Thompson and Minnie should eat their front court up. Crazier things have happened, but this is the best matchup we could've hoped for. WMU has looked bad lately, but they did smoke us on our own floor. Glad we don't have to see Wilder and company anymore.

Great!!! I hate Oakland. Let's win this MAC tournament and take our rightful spot as one of the top midmajors in the Midwest.

I feel kind of bad for Thomas Wilder. He was such a great player to go out under such bad circumstances. EMU ruins his senior night, then they follow that up with a loss to CMU, which gives him one more shot at winning at home but they are upset by Akron. Well I guess he is not the first to have this happen to themselves...
