Tulsa?
Are they an at large if they make it to the conference final? They would have to beat us to make that happen, just curious, I guess I haven't seen them mentioned at all as bubble team. They've very slowly and quietly turned into a decent team. I believe they have won 9 out 10, with the lone loss coming to UC and they dominated Temple today. They have an OOC win @KSU. Otherwise, I am looking at them as possible NIT winner.

RE: Tulsa?
I do realize their computer rankings are not favorable at all, so that will probably screw them in the end, but to me they do look like a NCAA worthy team right now. More so than Arkansas, Oklahoma, and USC IMO.

I don't think they can make it without the autobid. Even in your scenario they only get to 21-12 with an RPI of around 60 and a SOS of about 70.

They really shot themselves in the foot during the non con. If they don't drop their home opener to Lamar and win one of their two games against Illinois St they are on the bubble right now.

If they run through WSU and Houston to get to the final, their computer numbers will probably be fine.

They don’t. They’re the 4 seed on our side of the bracket. They face Memphis/USF winner then most likely us. They’re going to need to win the auto bid.

To get to the final they would have to go through Memphis/USF and UC. Still a good boost from UC but not as much from the other game. That would still only get them to about 60 in the RPI and 70ish SOS.

RE: Tulsa?
Yeah early part of Tulsa's season is really coming back to kill our late rankings. Not much that can be done about that though. Except Keep winning.

Moral of the story is don't lose games to teams like Lamar and Illinois St. And whoever else they lost to. Not only does it screw yourself, it screws over the entire league if you are going to end up finishing 4th. This wad a year the AAC could have gotten 4 bids, but unfortunately some teams fell apart in conference (SMU/Temple) and some teams didn't do their part in the non con (Tulsa/Memphis).

There's been at least 3 out of the 4 years coach Haith has been here that we've sucked it up early in the season. Of course last year we sucked most of the season.
