HBU Sunday Game
Feels weird knowing that a single game against HBU is somehow important at this stage, but if we lose a series to HBU that does not bode well for the balance of the season.

If we lose this series and fail to show signs of life in our slate of games against other unknowns (Texas St., Lamar, Gonzaga x4, TCU (only non-patsy), Columbia) before opening up CUSA play, we are directly back to where we were last season where the only reasonable shot for post season play is to burn through the CUSA tourney. Losing 4 in a row to Stanford and dropping a series to HBU is not what an at-large resume looks like.

With that said, I think we roll these HBU guys today for a big win. Go Owls!

FWIW, UVA May be overrated; it has losses to VMI, Eastern Kentucky, and Yale.

Michigan blanked Stanford yesterday 5-0.

Neither Gonzaga (ranked in RPI Top 50 last year) or Columbia (predicted to win the Ivies) are patsies, and Tx State is not a cupcake either.

Anyone know what's holding up Dunlap's return? I was told last week he'd likely be available this weekend?

Does anyone who has CUSA TV/OwlVision know if its compatible with Chrome Cast?

Considering buying a subscription but don't feel like being limited to my computer.

Owls leave 2 in scoring position in the 1st. No score going to 2nd.

Hope Moss can shut them out today (and so far, so good). Our lineup is not the least bit intimidating.

0-0 going to the bottom of the 3rd. Both Moss and defense looking sharp so far.

RE: HBU Sunday Game
Trainer to the mound to look at Moss.

Moss takes himself out of the game. Amador to pitch.

Moss with some kind of problem - trainer and coach Pope to the mound. Amador in to pitch. Hope Moss is OK.

Moss obviously hurt something. The look on Coach Pope's face was not good.

Did it appear to be a upper or lower body injury?

I don’t like this one bit.
Good for Moss to call a halt and get the trainer and Coach Pope involved.
Hope it’s just a twinge.

I hope it's precautionary. Losing 2 weekend starters in 2 days would really suck.

Awful news. You hope it's nothing major, but whenever a pitcher calls for the trainer it's rarely good news. Best case he misses a couple weeks, worst case could be TJ. I feel terrible for Moss either way, he's been off to such a great start

If Moss is out for significant time, we're going to need some guys to step up.

Tyner, Schwarz, etc.

Tyner, Schwarz, etc.

We need some guys to step up, period. This just exacerbates it.
