Glad to hear it, I questioned the decision, but if he ends up as a third round draft pick, god for him. Good Luck, Ola!!!

I’d be thrilled with him getting drafted 3rd or 4th round. Ola will have to demonstrate that he can pass defend against RB’s and the occasional TE in order to get serious consideration in he draft. Because he is only 6-1, 250 I can understand why another year at UT wouldn’t really improve his draft stock. I believe he can be a solid nfl player but I also thought Trent Voss would get drafted so I clearly have no idea how the nfl works

Ola's a better player than Voss. Trent was versatile and an all around solid player but not really special at anything. The pro game is about stars and specialists (for most sports football, basketball, baseball) either you are a Kareem Hunt who can do it all or you are a guy who is real good at a specific thing (pass blocking, coverage, 3rd down back, situational pass rusher). Ola is a real good pass rusher and can get in the backfield on run plays too. He isn't big enough to be a full time player in most schemes but you can put him on the edge and know he will be disruptive in the pass game. James Harrison is about the same size and has made a 15 year career out of that.
