Agree that this one will probably be ugly. Glad that streak is off our backs. We're now 5 years into Kaspar Ball .. . and I'm not sure what to make of it. I know we lost a lot from last year's team. While his style has played well in previous Coaching stops, I'm not sure it's a long term answer for what ails us. At times this year, it almost looked as if he'd lost the team. His defenses tend to be sound, but he's got to find some consistent scorers, or it's going to be many more seasons of frustration. You can't get to the top of this league averaging the scoring we do.

Finally, a win. Kaspar is a good coach, but he has not been able to recruit the kind of offensive talent that he needs. We just play this grinding style of play and he needs the kind of offensive talent and depth that will allow him to open up things on offense. At least that is the way I see it.

He's going to have to settle for what he gets. We've got a million holes and 1 open scholarship.

Unless he kicks guys off the team, which I doubt considering the problem players are graduating pretty much.

We did set a school record for losses today, so we accomplished something at least...
