Sun Belt signs 8 year deal with ESPN+
Apparently ESPN will be starting a new streaming network ESPN+. They will televise all Sun Belt football and basketball games, and apparently other sports as well. I think the network will also have NHL and MLS games. It will cost 4.95 a month for a subscription, at least, initially.

If you are a Sun Belt fan and have broadband it sure looks like a pretty good deal. I wonder how it will effect scheduling? Sun belt schools may be playing every day of the week and at crazy times (i.e. Tuesday, Wednesday football games). I'm curious if/how this will effect Little Rock's decision to start football 03-drunk

Every time sports goes on television, it is just one more incentive not to go to games.

Sun Belt signs 8 year deal with ESPN+
10 out of 40 regular season games in football will be on national tv.
Contract requires that eventually all home games in basketball be available on ESPN+
