The drive Over from Monroe was only 3 hours so we got here too early to check in, so cooling our heels in lobby. We are staying in team hotel for our women. The men will be staying at different hotel.

The Men will head back to LR tomorrow right after their game and then leave from LR to New Orleans on Tuesday morning.

The women will be staying here until Sunday and then make the short trip over to New Orleans.

Interesting, since the men play Wednesday and the women don't play until Thursday.

Lafayette is a hidden tourist gem. The food is Cajun rather than Creole which dominates NOLA. Avery Island (Tabasco) is nearby and there’s a place just south of Lafayette called Shucks which is oysters and Cajun food for locals instead of tourists
