RE: Toughest Parts of Your Schedule
Like I said it’s tongue in cheek.

We’ll probably lose to the two $ games just like every other SBC teams that lose to FCS and other G5 teams in OOC. We’re at least getting paid a lot and get to play in awesome environment . I know the Texas boys are excited to play at Kyle Field and the Boys from Sip are chomping at the bit to play at Ole Piss.. it’s a great opportunity. I know our players are excited for both games. I think we put ourselves in an awesome Situation. I actually don’t mind two money games as long as we play a FCS and regional G5. That’s going to be the model for us for the foreseeable future. Many G5 teams play 2 Money games so we’re not the only ones. But without those games there wouldn’t be the 5 P5 wins we have in FBS. There wouldn’t be the Shock in Little Rock, Baylor game at home and other times we had some good games vs P5 teams. . We moved from 3 $to 2 money games so it may not be huge step like some but it’s a step and I’ll roll with the postivte vs the negative.

People bash ULM about our OCC schedule and some A State fan said we weren’t getting paid enough even though it’s right under what A State gets paid. Nothing is said about USA / Texas State taking less than a million from Nebraska and Colorado. We’re not the worse team in the SBC.

Atmosphere means nothing. You can play in the greatest atmosphere there ever was, but someone else beating the Sisters of the Poor in FCS gets the league closer to a bowl team, losing to A&M and Ole Miss don't.

Money games must be played at an absolute minimum if we are going to succeed in OOC as a league.

Winning a few games in OOC wouldn't hurt either. Glass houses and all.

Well losing to G5 and FCS like SBC schools do doesn’t get them any closer either so what are you talking about? We play 1 more money game than some of the schools in the SBC 1! Get off your high horse man. We played 3 money games on the past now we went down to 2 since 2015. Y’all bitched when we had three said we needed to get to two. We’re Down to two now we need to get down to one. It’s not like we’re the only G5 playing 2 money games.
We have have schools losing those FCS/G5 games so what the difference in losing to FCS/G5 vs losing to P5? Money I suppose and great game day Environment .
As someone who played in that environment / atmosphere it means more than “nothing” . At least it did to me and every G5 / FCS player I ever talked about the topic. I wanted to play against UT / TAMU bad when I was at ULM. Those were the schools I watched as a kid growing up. Playing in Swamp at Florida vs Jevon Kearse was awesome not “nothing”. I got my ass kicked some of the time but had some nice cut blocks. Lol but oh well I saw where I stood against the very best. From my understanding talking to friends who played G5 football we all agree it was great. Hell when A State recruited me they talked about going to Ole Piss and OU.

RE: Toughest Parts of Your Schedule
I don't see the logic in bashing ULM for scheduling two money games. Do what you've got to do. If the SBC would start consistently beating our G5/FCS opponents, the P5 games won't make a big difference. Let's get first things first.
