Tomorrow we celebrate the contributions Hailee Barron and Tasia Butler have made to the women's basketball program. Game time against the Tribe is 2:00 - come early for the recognition and celebration (probably about 1:45 or so). Ladies need this win and I feel very confident we will put a hurt on the Tribe.

It's also Girl Scout Day so bring your earplugs if high decibel sounds hurt your ears - not meant to be offensive but lots of young ladies screaming gives me a headache. Hopefully the team will give them a lot to scream about.

Crown Club is hosting a potluck reception after the game to honor the seniors. Our receptions are open to all so feel free to come back to the hospitality room after the game and let the team, especially Hailee and Tasia, know how much you appreciate them.

And then pray that the College of Charleston can beat Drexel on Sunday.

Bracketology latest still has us as a 14 seed...i could see as high as 12 once the official brackets are released, pending a CAA title that is.

First things first, take care of the Tribe.

Will be heading out in a few hours for the drive down to the Valley for todays game. Senior Day also for Tasia and Hailee. Looking forward to a nice crowd to honor themand then a nice victory over W&M!!

Dukes win 70-64 to close out the season with a win at Senior Day. Kelly had a monster fourth quarter and a great game. Now to see how the seeds come out in the morning....we tied with Drexel for the regular season title. Looks like JMU will be the second seed for the tournament next week.

Yes.

W&M sure makes you play ugly. They aren't very good except for shooting treys. THAT they are good at. Their center is the most physically disorganized player in the conference...by which I mean her arms and legs seem to be going in different directions much of the time. I will be glad not to see that speedy little guard next year though!

Concur on your evaluation, saw her miss at least 5 wide open layups under the basket on Saturday. Make a couple and the Tribe probably wins. Curious to say the least. Considering her size and whatnot she certainly does not play a lot of minutes.

If that's the route to the championship.... yikes. We definitely have a rough road ahead if the top seeds hold out.

There are only three teams that can win the auto bid us, Drexel and Elon.

Has anybody looked at the CAA RPI rankings?

When was the last time JMU was the 3rd best RPI team in the CAA?

Also of interest, the CAA is the 10th ranked conference in the country.

I think if you would have asked earlier in the season, a lot of casual posters would have told you we didn't have a shot at finishing in the top 100.
