That’s the Bud defense I remember, keep it up! Man, if Bradford’s shot would have went in...

Boss defense. Just boss.
We coulda been up over 20, as we've really not taken full advantage of opportunities, nor of Furple's coldness.

Are we the worst three-point shooting team in the SoCon? The last eight games or so have been awful.

We did play good D, but this officiating posture I think is favorable to ETSU. Not that they are favoring us, just they're not calling as many random ticky tack questionable fouls, and the fouls are pretty even. No Karl Hess makes a big difference.

32-19 at the half. Defense and rebounding!

I did the math last night on the last 7 games, *excluding* the WCU game, where we went 9/20. For those 6 games, we were 24/86, for 28%. If you take out Obi-Rapu's efforts (but why would you, other than for this exercise?), that goes up, of course. To 23/70, which is 33%.

ETSU defense just too tough - they are playing at a higher level. Boys among Men.

Mladen Armus - best game as a Buc? Yes, I think so.

Armus continues to impress me. If he continues to develop at this pace, imagine him as a junior and a senior

And letting Jurkin rest... I like Jurkin for more minutes tomorrow assuming the lead holds up. With Dickey not a huge scorer, I think Jurkin can deter some G penetration and let our guards focus more on defending the 3.

Right now, Furple shooting 26%, but only 6% from deep (1/17). Yikes.

Some combination of these factors will conspire:
Bucs are cold outside, and can't get in inside like against Chatt;
or...
Furman has a spurt late in the first half or early in the second, to which Bucs don't respond;
or....
Bucs get into foul trouble, and all that that brings with it. I'll leave it hanging as to whether the officials contribute much to that part of the equation.
And that's assuming Bradford's ankle is ok.
And, of course, would LOVE to be wrong.
Wrong on all counts!

Solid...good to see the guys get their swagger back. I think after that 3 game losing streak they may have a little chip on their shoulder...and I don't think that's a bad thing at all.

Quickly, can you list some reasons why we may lose against UNCG.

Probably our best game of the year against a solid opponent.
The only two things I worry about are 1) UNCG wont have 2 bad games in a row, and 2) Armus was exhausted at the end of that game. Wish we would have been able to rest him more.

I think we know it doesn't work that way. **Maybe** someone else can do it, but I believe based on past experience, that's a shaky proposition, too. *Maybe* somehow if Goldfinger were to come back on and try it.....
That said..........sure, I could list some reasons, but not in the context of a jinx. I used that card today.

What about our FT shooting? 5/14 for 36% today. We do that tomorrow, and we'll almost certainly get the 'L'.
ETSU had 9 blocks today.
Furple only 5 assists.
