Not happening. Too many upsets that have allowed mid major regular season champs in. We needed all the favs to win

Just now seeing this. I think "eventually" he could do better than Charlotte but he is young and Charlotte, IMO, is a better job the UNCG. They will double or triple his current salary. Miller does not have near the resume that Forbes has. He has not been an assistant at any major college programs like Forbes has. I don't see him going from UNCG to a power 5 school. He will need another stop.

Depends. Even in the bigger conferences, not all teams are created equal. The Vols and Vanderbilt are both SEC big teams. But on paper, if you look at their records, levels of success, championships, etc, UT is obviously a bigger and better school then Vanderbilt by far. Vanderbilt might take a chance on a less proven coach. UT, unless they where in an extended rough period, would expect and demand a more proven coach.

That's a huge exaggeration. Vandy has 15 NCAA appearances to UT's 20. Vandy has been to the Sweet Sixteen 6 times, to UT's 7. Vandy is overall 10-16, and UT is 19-21. And only in the last decade has UT surpassed Vandy in *any* of those metrics. Vandy has been to the NIT only 1 less time, and has a much better record there - and winning it once.
UT does have 10 SEC championships, to Vandy's 3.

So yes, UT has a better and more successful hoops program than Vandy, but only very recently.

You may be right, but Wake Forest is such a natural fit, and they have been bad enough for long enough that who could they really get that they'd know would be better? Danny Manning, for as good a player as he was, didn't seem to become any better of a coach because he spent a year at Tulsa.

Yeah I could see Wake Forest taking a chance on Miller.
