I’m confident Tubby will have us ready to play. We are still playing for seeding and losing kills any hopes of NIT. Tubby wants the 4 seed.

I bet nobody here saying this isn’t a “gimme” would bet on South Florida, and I’m not talking about taking the points because you guys are using the word “gimme”.

Of course we should win and win comfortably. But, at least for me, I wouldn't call any opponent a "gimme" win. Not this year. Not even at home.
Betting on South Florida? Umm, no. But anything can happen and it wasn't long ago that we were sweating out home wins against teams that some here haven't even heard of.

The win-loss record is only one of many metrics evaluating a team’s effectiveness. As you know, it is influenced by SOS and home games. The NCAA Selection Committee does not weigh it heavily for selection purposes and therefore I do not give it much weight either.

The most important metrics (but not the only one) to me indicating program success are earning an NCAA Tourney bid and number of NCAA Tourney victories. Do you agree?

After the season is over (as early as next week), the season post mortem may commence and we will evaluate the progress made (if any) since Tubby’s hire.

I called them a cupcake. You guys brought up “gimme”. To which I say if someone views playing USF as “not a gimme” you’re saying they can beat us. To which I’m saying...they’re not going to beat us. They are garbage. Lets call a spade a spade. They suck. Their record is terrible. We aren’t losing to South Florida, come on.

Anything could happen but we should win this one if we are focused. We are not exactly world beaters so I'm not sure I'd call any game a forgone conclusion. Go Tigers!

I'm not really hip to what selection committees are looking for anymore (sadly), but what a BAD LOSS it would be to lose to this team!
