They are trying to slowly transition to the NBA rules. Frankly, I don't like the NBA game. Their game is slanted toward the offense and face-up one-on-one play... continuation fouls; ticky-tack foul calls favoring the offensive player initiating contact.
The NBA refs are considered the best at their profession. But all I see is a lot of missed traveling calls and slanted foul calls favoring the player with the bigger marquee name on the back of their jersey.
The college game is imperfectly played but that is what makes it exciting. I enjoy good defense and a coach out coaching another coach because he devised a better game plan; regardless of talent on the court.
