Almost everyone who rated these guys out of high school...

I'm just saying.

I think that Barton and JJ will always be a little less in fans minds because they never made tournament runs. Even though they were both great in a Tiger uniform. Legends are made in March.

Will Barton was a top 10 prospect in his class

kudos to Pastner for landing him

just don't know how and don't care, but I do know Tubby Smith wouldn't come close

Glenn Cyprien and he got to bring Antonio with him.

Many coaches were passing on the "package" deal.

But, yeah, Tubby would have zero chance.

The knock on Will was could he put on weight?

Well, not really, but he plays hard.

I did a fantasy basketball team for the first time this year.

Snagged Will Barton late in the draft.

He's been producing at a fairly high level.

Deserves a nice contract this off season.

I wanted him to end up a Laker.

. . . and that behavior / attitude / psychological condition / whatever has cost him MILLION$$$$$$$$$.

i predicted it to my basketball buddies cause Will has a motor that never stops and he HATES losing. The Wave God was a problem in practices at Memphis. Rather weird dude.

Fixed it for you. Gotta put some respect on the Wave God's name.

Will always be CDR to me. The best was when Jason and John asked Antonio Anderson for his thoughts on his old roommate CDR a few weeks back on radio. Tone laughed and replied “No comment”

CDR said in an interview, after how ever many years into his pro career, that he and Tone fought in practice everyday. He didn't elaborate, but wasn't talking about "fought it out on the court" basketball skill-wise. Maybe he was talking about beyond-basketball physicality on the court, i.e., elbows, forearms, etc. I can't imagine they actually traded punches everyday.

CDR MIGHT hit Tone one time. No two Tone. He would kick CDR’s ass to whatever planet he is on now.

I've seen many people change their names, but I've never seen a namechange
change the person.

Will always had that knack for scoring the ball when the team really needed some points. Great to see him enjoy success on the next level.

Lol...

Never let a persons appearance fool you in their ability to defend themselves.
