Law Enforcement Hypocrisy rears it's ugly head.....

I wonder why? I'm hoping it's just hypocrisy but I also wonder if racism was also involved?
Is this a joke/parody thread?
One was about questioning, cuffing a college professor who was supposedly being uncooperative and unresponsive to the cops questions. Legitimate questions or not.
The other “took cover” while unarmed, unprotected sitting ducks of 3000+ kids were taking close to 200 rounds in their direction.
This may be the reach of all reaches.
As a trained, police veteran, charged with really one thing- protecting these students.
He acted cowardly.

You don't know that. What was the training. Trump has fully taken over the rights conscience. Their Dear Leader can not be questioned. Frankly it's hypocrisy. If Obama called a cop a coward this board would throw a hissy fit.

Why don't you let others tell you who has or has not taken over their consciences, instead of building these straw men?

Nope. In this situation I’d think exactly the same way, Trump, zerO or the Bern saying it.
There were kids dying in there, the cops charged with protecting them took shelter behind their cars.
14 YO ROTC kids acted more heroically.
And frankly, I don’t give a schit what the “training” is or was. You’re armed and protected, you sit idly by?
Remember who took down the Church shooter? He wasn’t even wearing shoes...

We just talked about this at lunch. Some people took up the cops cause others didn't. Interesting case study though. I'm of the "opinion" if Obama called a cop a coward this board would have a totally different reaction.

If this had happened under his watch and he did, yes I would be inclined to agree with the sitting President.

Not if the cop was actually a coward. Yes, there will always be those blind to partisanship but I prefer to discount those people.

At least part of the response by the Broward County Sheriff's Dept was directly contradictory to the national standard of training for mass shooting events.
Training for these events has been available since the early 2000's. If Broward County did not make the effort to undergo this training that is on them.

That's an unbelievably bad opinion. Conservatives would have been 100% with him.
Just because you hate everything Trump supports doesn't mean everybody else thinks like you.

I'd like to sit at a table with Mach at lunch.
I bet the conversation is riveting.
Only if there is a sneeze guard. I don't like mouth froth in my food.

I'm picturing Mach talking loudly over other teachers. Pounding his fist into the table. The principal and union rep walking over asking him to calm down. Then in a fit he shouts, the sonofabitch is in bed with the Russians and you want me to be quiet!
