CHARLESTON WATERING HOLE
One of the great things about being in Baltimore for three years is that we managed to find a bar that served as our unofficial watering hole. For the life of me I cannot remember the name of it but the night of the championship game against Northeastern we turned it into our own pep rally. Even the pep band showed up.

Anybody here have any suggestions of a place where we could congregate in Charleston?

If we're talking about downtown Charleston, then I'd weigh in with Pearlz Oyster Bar, which is on East Bay in the Historic District. Decent size bar, great food, good location, and I remember seeing a few different CAA school shirts when I was there last year. There's a lot of other options in that area, too.

If we're talking about someplace next to the arena, then I can't help...

There is a pregame party at the Charleston Marriott on Sunday. This is where we are staying, so that should be easy for us.

That was the Pratt Street Ale House in Baltimore, two blocks down from the Arena. I remember that as well, a full takeover of the place.

If anyone comes up with a spot for North Charleston, please post it. I plan on parking my car at my hotel in N. Charleston and not driving again until I leave to come home. Too bad the team moved downtown this year.

Go Tribe!

Staying at the North Charleston Marriott, and beyond Uber rides downtown will make the bar there our hangout. Planning to make the pre-game thing at downtown Marriott.

I'm still looking to see if there is an Alewife in Charleston for you. No luck so far.

Do worry, Alewife already faxed his likeness to every bar in Charleston. He'll be drinking in his room.

That place is no longer Alewife. I renamed it Alewhore.
