Plays for brother Jason at Holmes. Leads the team in scoring with 14.2 per game. 37.3% from 3; 72.6% from the free throw line. Like to think he is a guy we wouldn't have gotten without the family connection. Oh ya. Holmes is 21-3 so far this season.

According to JucoRecruiting.com, we now have two recruits in the Top 100:
79. Melkisedak Moreaux
89. Trevais Spencer

Who knows what that means. But I'd rather see our recruits listed than not listed.

If Verbal Commits is correct, we also have commitments from Traylynn Spencer and Kalin Bennett. That makes three 4s and a 2.

I may be wrong but I consider Bennett a 5. He’s a big strong kid that will be a load to push around the low block. I’m not sure he’ll make an impact as a freshman but I think he’ll be a good player for us.

Now he has decommitted.

I really wonder what that means. Did we not actually "offer" him? Did he have a change of heart? Did some "bigger" program show interest? Did we pull our offer? The fact that Wes' brother is the coach at Holmes makes this even more curious.

I couldn't find when he actually committed. Was it just 2 days ago when you posted this Pappy? If that's the case, I would have to believe there was some miscommunication involved. Recruiting is a nasty business. I know my friend, who's daughter was being recruited by a lot of schools, often left visits with coaches wondering "Did he just give her an offer or not". Apparently, it is often purposely left ambiguous, unless it's a player the coach really wants to sign.
