Georgia Southern has a pretty good slate. Troy, StAte, App, and USA at home will help a lot, and then we have two easily travel-able games @GAST and @CCU

I just hope we don't get any of @NMSU, @TXST, or @ULM in back-to-back weeks.

Definitely seems like GAST or USA drew the short straws

I'm just pulling for a single weekday home game. We had 2 midweek home games in 2014 and 2016, but we have App, Troy, and stAte at home, so I'm expecting to get screwed.

Unfortunately, if recent history is any indication, it looks like two weeknight games are in our future. StAte @ GS had the best ratings last season so I don't think ESPN will change that up, and App/GS has been on Thursday night since we moved up even though the ratings haven't been the best.

Doubt it's AState, probability is we only get one weeknight home game.

Yep, I'm expecting at least two weeknight home games. Luckily we have 6 home games this year, so that makes it a little easier to stomach than recent past.

Looked at our home slate again. AState probably plays two weeknight games. That's guaranteed complaint.

If we can put together another good season, this would be great for App. Road games on national tv against GS, StAte, and I would assume Penn State will be nationally televised. Then our other 3 road games are UNCC (easy drive), Coastal (another game fans could travel to), and the one tough one Texas State. Part of me wonders if they will show App @ GS though. There hasn't been much to the rivalry since we became fbs. Each year one of us has been down. Hasn't been a classic App vs. GS game since we moved up. Hope that doesn't happen for long.

I know that ESPN likes to stay with ratings on the Wednesday Night games, but with Southern putting up back to back terrible seasons, AState/GS is going to put that theory to the test.

I do seriously wonder if they are going to put App/AState on a Wednesday instead, which would stink. That game is great on Thursday's, but terrible for a Wednesday.

stAte at GS received the highest ratings of all Sun Belt televised games last year (not bowl season). So it stands to reason that one will be on again.

They love putting our games with App during midweek too.

I'd love to see App carry some of the midweek load though, they've been spared pretty dramatically.
