We deserve to be on the "ouch list", but...

Love you, Stitch, but "none of the games were particularly close"? Say what? Yes, the first game got out of hand early; however, Canterino outpitched Beck through 5+ innings on Friday, and Moss had a 1-0 lead going into the 6th inning on Saturday, when the errorfest began, and Rice trailed only 6-4 heading to the bottom of the 8th when we gave up our 7th unearned run of the game. And on Sunday, we lost a 2-0 pitchers duel, which was 1-0 heading to the 7th. Yes, it was an ugly and disappointing weekend, and we deserved to be on the "ouch list", but to say none of the games were close is just not true, and piling on.

We had the bases loaded 3 times-- once with no outs, once with one out, and the final time with 2 outs. On one of the occassions, Ryan hit a 2-out, 2-strike laser over the CF's head, but after stumbling, he was able to recover in time to make an over the shoulder catch on the warning track.
