Go Tigers win as many straight as possible. Just wanted a discussion not an argument.

No, you're pointing out someone else's 'truth.' That doesn't make it 'true' or a 'fact', it's how one person interprets events. As for changing recruit's minds, that's idiotic of them to say. How the **** do they know? Are they close buddies with every recruit?

What this is is one person trying to appear knowledgeable so they can increase ratings and keep their job. There's my truth for you.

You say you want a discussion and that's great, but when you start by declaring opinions as facts then you've de facto short-circuited any further discussion, because by definition any variance from your stated 'truth' must be an 'untruth.'

Only thing I know about dude is that he's awfully sensitive about photos he shared with the PUBLIC, being posted on this board.

Jonah can swallow the entire bag of whales.

edit: i've just been informed that I've gotten 2 different parables confused.

Tubbys not going anywhere unless another team poaches him due to the FBI probe. We may as well hope he can turn this program around. I hope he does for our programs sake.
I also hope he signs a few players late from Memphis, adds another juco or two and two or three players transfer out due to a lack of playing time. If he plays it right we could make a NCAA run next season. May as well hope for the best.

I like your optimism.

The answer to that is a fairly simple, not much. However, if these wins continue to a conference championship, or even a runner up, then that could change everything. Most of the time it's how you finish that everyone remembers. I'm not saying we can, but what if Cincy gets upset? The Tigers can beat any of the other teams in the conference on the right night. They can also lose to any but let's keep it positive for now. If the Tigers make the conference finals, I think this current win streak means a bit more. If the current coaching staff can show they are building here, it does help with recruiting. And you really only need 2-3 guys to buy in to change the entire conversation.

Anything short of winning the tourney doesn't mean squat in overall trajectory of the program.

Of course it can. Only 1 team wins that tourney every year. Your point is just straight up argumentative squat. Winning is how you build a program. WINNING. If this current streak continues into the conference tournament, it gains attention. If the NIT happens and the streak continues, that gains attention. If this program shows that it is building and trending up, it will help recruiting. To say it won't is simply wrong. If you honestly feel that, explain how the win streak hurts the program.

That is a load of crap.

How has it changed the trajectory of the program; it is what it is, still.
As the team has shown heart and development if you pay attention those around our current number 1 target have made postitive statements toward our coaches and program. That did not happen at the beginning of the season. A winning streak reinforces those perceptions and allows others to feel comfortable making additional positive statements (even a higher number of posters on this board). This makes for an overall more positive reflection of the program. Winning streaks always help.

The winning streak has its advantages, especially in conjunction with the FBI investigation

Plus, I like that our players are happy, gaining confidence and getting on the court.

It’s nice to see so many different players contribute.
