We've all been on Tubby for coaching over the last 2 seasons. And he had the #1 're recruiting class in the league last year.
Hope he gets to the AAC Title game ... then picks up a couple of surprise recruits. Line forms behind me if he does. 04-chairshot

If he beats Cinci with this team and brings in some good recruits...I am right behind you.

But I think this team will struggle against well coached teams that play good defense.

If we stay in the three groove, we will confuse all the teams that scouted us.
There's that.

I'm thinking we could pull some upset in the conference tourney.

We aren't missing the bunnies...Our threes are all net. Gone are the clanking sounds. And I haven't seen many airballs.

Yes, shooting so much better from there than we were early in the season for sure.

No. No he didn’t. Maybe making the NIT is not “showing us anything”. Beating one good team all year isn’t “showing us anything”. Just proves we are a little less crappy then the Tulanes and Uconn off the world

It doesn't matter what he shows some malcontents on a message board. We don't sign his paychecks. If he convinces those guys, that's all it will take.

tubby can't coach. It's not about the recruiting, dismal as it is, but tubby can't win with the number 1 recruiting class in the country. I saw that at UK.

tubby will always do just enough to keep the posse at bay. He is a world class grifter.

Player do not get better under tubby. They get older and more mature as they would anywhere and it seems they get better. But they gain no skills, no fundamental improvement. If they don't have a skill when they get to tubby they won't leave with it.

Did players have to ‘break’ before he changed the lineup? Just asking.

I do not bye that at all. We have already seen players get better and develop in his 2 years here. The current team is vastly better today than they were at the beginning of the year.

The problem is recruiting. If you take "F" recruits and coach them up to "C" level players that is great in terms of development. However, they are still not as good as "C" recruits who naturally develop into "B" level players. Despite having a better coach who is better at developing players, you still have worse players. It simply is not reasonable for a coach to recruit a team of JUCO All Americans and expect them to compete with teams that have multiple NBA and borderline NBA players.

The conversation was about player development not recruiting...

WTH hell does this list have to do with player development.

And it is strange that you include Cal guys no longer in the league but you don't include Tubby guys no longer in the league. And you include Enes Kanter who never played a game for Cal...Might as well include Amare Stodumire as well...LOL

If you are going to post things at least do it honestly...
