I know this...BOTH of our clubs are going to be better off for playing each other. It can only help, and especially THIS LATE in the year. These games, with what was on the line, with the atmosphere, with the quality of play, the physicality, etc. were like S16/E8 games in the Big Dance.

Great practice for us both.

I hope so, but I have memories of being 1 seed and both the 8 & 9 seeds having travel advantages over us.

For what it is worth, as of 3:40 p.m. today, WSU is still a #3 seed in bracket matrix and actually has a wider gap over than top #4 seed (Texas Tech) than they did very recently.

UC: 2 seed is for the taking, 3 will be worse case scenario
WSU: 3 see is there for the taking I believe, 4 seed will be worse case scenario
Houston: man, I have no idea. probably a 7 seed but if they beat WSU in the AAC tourney, they could get a 6
