No, the entire team has not regressed. Cokley turned into an all conference player. We never got the guard play to go along with Cokley and Lee.

I would argue Cokley is the same player he was as a freshman, just stronger.

He is shooting 4% better from the field and 15% better from the field. His rebounds have gone up, his fouls have gone way down. His advanced metrics are through the roof. Cokley is a true PF in a game that is evolving away from that position. He has definitely improved over the years.

That season happened to be the weakest CUSA has ever been as a conference.

Haha has gone from thinking he was an NBA prospect to thinking he'll be better suited for stocking groceries next year.

When coaches cant get the players to play, that's when they get fired.

If the coaches need to be fired for their performance, then the players should be also. Pull all their scholarships. Fire the coaches. Blow it up and start over.

The team regressed without a doubt. The 26-7 season was smoke and mirrors though. We also had some guard play on that team we didn't replace.

Oh, I'm not saying bench him, but I'd swap Bryant and Darling for Perry & Sullivan in the starting lineup.

We need to get some big guards and wings...we are playing bad and we have lost our most dominant player in Coke.
I am happy the conference tournament is being played on a neutral court. But, our guards are playing bad, they can't guard take care of the ball or score. Need to upgrade that position.

I amend my earlier statement. Coke was part of the problem tonight only. He's injured so I can give him a pass.

Everyone else has regressed.

The 26 win season was major smoke and mirrors.

Haase and Ehsan aren't very good coaches.

This is just unacceptable for UAB basketball. The team has quit on Ehsan, but that's telling in their faith and belief in his abilities. Firing a guy after two years is tough, but after tonight I think that's what's needed. Normally I wouldn't be for that but it's painfully obvious Ehsan is in over his head and has no control over his players. Clean house with coaches and players.

Sadly I agree.

I'd be for starting over, Ehsan was the easy hire but should have never happened.
